Sampson (1888-1980), and his wife Margaret Ryan Sampson (1902-1995); scrapbooks containing material documenting the Sampson's personal activities and travel, including Margaret Ryan Sampson's piano teaching career, and the dance teaching career and Reno dance studio of Margaret's sister Ruth Ryan (1905-1969); correspondence and papers relating to efforts to restore St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Virginia City, Nev.; and a typescript address (1974) by Gordon A. Sampson on the background of the Declaration of Independence.
